Coming from a family of dentists in South Korea, Dr. Chung long envisioned a career in oral health and has always maintained a high standard for his professional practice. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with the highest of academic distinctions. Dr. Chung then went on to the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
When Dr. Chung is not promoting healthy smiles at the Leesburg office, he is doing so at stops around the world. He has traveled to Bolivia, Honduras, Kyrgyzstan, and China to offer emergency dental care to thousands of people. Closer to home, this passion extends to the homeless and underserved population in the Greater Washington, D.C., area, whom he serves by volunteering at the Mission Life Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
Dr. Chung is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He was also selected among America’s top doctors in 2014 by the Consumers Research Council of America.
